Bringing a multifaceted leadership approach to the Sconic Group, Sooncon boasts nearly two decades of experience across a spectrum of industries, ranging from food manufacturing to pharmacy operations and retail businesses.
Educated at the University of Reading, United Kingdom, where he earned his law degree, Sooncon’s qualifications extend to being a barrister-at-law at Lincoln’s Inn, United Kingdom, and his admission to the Malaysian bar as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2013. This unique blend of legal acumen and business prowess sets him apart.
Under his astute leadership, Sooncon has steered several of the Group’s businesses towards substantial growth and resounding success. These achievements encompass the expansion of a comprehensive food manufacturing and distribution network, the establishment of both retail and wholesale pharmacy network in Malaysia, the development of specialized pharmacy dispensing services, and the creation of innovative healthcare solutions. Beyond business expansion, his entrepreneurial spirit has translated into the creation of employment opportunities within local communities. Sooncon is also actively involved with the Lion Club and other philanthropic activities within the local community.
